MHHS Book Club
What are we currently reading?
Have questions about the MHHS Book Club?
Who can join?
Anyone!
When do we meet?
On various B-Days (once or twice a month), during ALL lunches.
How do you have Book Club meetings during all lunch shifts?
We have one MHHS Book Club, but within the club there are 4 different groups, because there are 4 different lunch shifts. Each lunch shift group picks their own book to read for the month.
Where do we meet?
Room 109 (Dr. Kiehl's room)
What do we do in Book Club?
Talk about the books that each group has chosen to read for that month, talk about other books we love, relax, and make friends with people that have similar interests.
How do you find out more information about the Book Club?
Come see Ms. Richter (the Book Club sponsor) in the media center.
How do we stay in touch with other members of the Book Club and Ms. Richter?
The MHHS Book Club has its own Edmodo site (Edmodo is like Facebook but it is used for educational purposes). Ms. Richter posts information about meeting times, books that each group is reading, etc.
Ms. Richter also uses Remind101 (an app that sends texts and emails to students while keeping phone numbers and email addresses completely private) to remind students about meeting times.
*If you are interested in joining the club, ask Ms. Richter for the group codes for Edmodo and Remind101.
